Objectives:  1. Be a leading niche instructor of oriental dance (bellydance) specializing in fitness, technical proficiency, artistic integrity and personal empowerment.  2.  Teach Western Canadas first certified fitness bellydance class in fall, 2003 for future DVD release.

  • 2001 - 1999: Local bellydance lessons (intro through advanced), Isis Dance Productions, etc.

  • 2003/02, Aug: Two-time invited performer, Guest performers show and Gala, Hadias Festival of the Nile (Canadas first and only Middle Eastern dance festival), Calgary AB
  • 2003, Apr: 1st round recruit trainee, Vinok World Dance Troupe
  • 2002, Apr: invited performer, "Hezz Ya Wezz" (dance party), Arabesque Academy, Toronto ON
  • 2002, Feb: invited performer, "Middle Eastern Night" extravaganza, Grand Prairie AB
  • 1995 1997: sprinter and relay member, U of A Golden Bears and Capital City Track and Field
  • 1996: 5th place, Senior Mens 400m, Alberta Provincial Championships    

Experience: 

  • 2003, Summer: Instructor, Fitness Bellydance (15 wks), Integration Pilates 10565-114 St
  • 2001 - Present: Edmonton's first formally trained, male oriental dancer performing for private parties and local restaurants (Cosmos, Khazana, Yiannis, Koutouki, Donnas at the Citadel, Nikos, Grub Med).
  • 2000 - 2003: Studio Assistant, Isis Dance Productions, Edmonton
